About
Sam qualified as a physiotherapist in 2007 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and began his clinical career in India. Early experience at the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), a Ministry of Defence-backed healthcare programme, helped shape his interest in musculoskeletal medicine.
After running a successful physiotherapy clinic in Kolhapur, India, he expanded his clinical expertise by completing a master’s degree at Coventry University in the UK in 2010. He later worked as a HAAD-registered Physiotherapy team lead in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, where he further developed his skills in multicultural healthcare settings and in managing patients with complex medical conditions.

As an HCPC-registered physiotherapist, Sam specialises in first contact musculoskeletal care and complex pain management. He has extensive experience in musculoskeletal triage, helping to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. His clinical and academic experience spans around two decades. He is a dedicated academic supervisor believes in encouraging physiotherapists to gain educational excellence to improve clinical practice.
Sam is Essex university accredited First Contact Physiotherapy practitioner with specialist qualifications in joint and soft tissue cortisone injections, and he is also an independent non-medical prescriber. He works with range of reputed private healthcare organisations and primary care networks in the NHS to support and promote first contact physiotherapy across the UK.
